As access to cellphone technology has skyrocketed, there has not been a corresponding increase in medical technology in developing worlds. The Skylight allows anyone with a microscope to share what their seeing on a microscope with anyone in the world. Imagine the possibilities! A doctor could email a picture or share in real time via video chat. Faster diagnoses means saving lives. They also plan to donate one out of every 5 once the skylights are produced.
